SDRN is pleased to announce that we now have an Online GCP Update Course‘ (in conjunction with the University of Dundee & NHS Tayside). It is recommended that GCP qualification is updated at least every 3 years.

The SDRN 2008 diabetes research studies portfolio shows a healthy increase in both total number of studies and total number of participants. We have met and exceeded our projected number of 20,000 participants in trials (representing nearly 10% of our patient population). Although diabetes research is still centred around the four major academic centres and their associated hospitals, there is an increase in activity in the smaller Boards upon which we hope to build.

Call for Expressions of Interest to host Writing Groups – SDRN Writing Groups are intended to promote research activity in diabetes and particularly encourage large scale studies that can be facilitated through SDRN and wider UKDRN.
